Toddler Tuesdays

Take a time out you and your toddler will adore! Every Tuesday in March, join in kid-friendly activities at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Check out what we have planned for you and your toddler this March:

March 7: Bubble Party

Hang out on the dry side of our Coral Reef exhibit as SCUBA divers swim with the fish, play underwater and blow bubbles with you!

March 14: Pi Day
Molding clay + cookie cutters = one awesome Pi Day celebration! Cut out different sized circles and make yourself a “Pi pie” out of colorful clay.

March 21: Cuddle Clinic
Bring in your favorite stuffed animal to get a free check-up by our vet staff and learn how you can protect and care for other animals.

March 28: All Nestled Up

See what it’s like to nest like a penguin! Using cardboard boxes, scrap paper and markers, create your cozy nest and snuggle up to stuffed animals.

All activities are included with admission.

15th Annual Valley Has a Heart Food Drive

The 15th Annual Valley Has a Heart Spooner House food collection will be held on Saturday, March 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lower Naugatuck Valley. The food collections will take place at the three Stop and Shop stores in Ansonia, Seymour and Shelton.

The goal of the event is to gather 5,000 non-perishable food items and $5,000 in cash to help restock the shelves as needed following the cold winter months.

Community members can donate at the 3 locations throughout the day or make a tax-deductible donation online at http://www.bit.ly/VHAH2017 to help reach the goals. Thank you for the support, we hope to see you there!
