The Young Professionals Symposium brings together community leaders and young professionals from across Connecticut for an engaging and enriching conversation. The goals of our third Symposium are to provide opportunities for professional development, to attract and retain young professionals to the state, and to build a sense of community among our groups.
This year’s theme is “Transformations for Advancement”, and will focus on changes young professionals can make, both personally and professionally, to improve their career options.
The Symposium is an afternoon event composed of lunch, a panel, breakout sessions, keynote, and a networking happy hour. Registration is free, and we encourage anyone who identifies as a young professional to attend.

Back by popular demand, we having another speed dating event! Take this opportunity to meet many new people and maybe find someone to go on another date with. Join us at Elm City Social; this one is for people between the ages of 21 and 36. Tickets are $12 if you buy before January 15th; $15 if you buy after so make sure you purchase yours now.
At speed dating, you will meet 10-15 singles of the opposite gender in 4-minute rounds throughout the night. You are not allowed to ask them for their personal information on the dates. If you have a mutual match, you will get an email with their contact information shortly after the event so you can set up your next date.
