Come and join us for a hike in the highly popular East Rock Park where we will tackle the Giant Steps. Whether you’re a frequent hiker or haven’t hiked in years, you’ll find other CTYP members on this outing to hike and chat at your speed.
This is a light to moderate hike, during which we hope to get in some fresh air, take in the scenery and break a sweat with very little embarrassment. The Giant Steps themselves will be the steepest portion of the hike and can be a short challenge but you may go at your own pace. Expect the ending view to be worth it. Please contact us if you would like to bring a friendly, furry pal along the hike.
We will meet at the front of the red bridge located at the end of the Eli Whitney Museum parking lot. Parking is free.
Make sure to bring water, comfortable clothing, and sunscreen. We hope to see you there!
Research has shined the light upon healthy habits and their relationship to work and life productivity. Join our workshop and discover how food alone does not impact our productivity and energy level. We will focus on primary foods (career, relationships, cooking, spirituality, physical activity) and secondary food: the actual food that we eat. We will also show you how to make vegan protein balls and we will share life hack recipes that will save you time, nourish your body and soul.
The cost is $7 and please purchase beforehand on Eventbrite (all fees included) as seating is limited per person and you’ll leave with about 20 protein balls to last for an entire week!
